Round 7 of the 2026 VSCA SportsCar Championship will see a grid of 37 cars take on Canadian Tire Motorsport Park. The event, branded as #NEVERLIFT CRISPY 160 in memory of the late Martin "Crispy" Crisp will see no new entries making their series debut on the grid. However the #552 RedLab Competitizione Dallara P217 is making its return in LMP2 class, while the organization's #554 Porsche 963 GTP in the top class will not return this season after having missed the last two races already, adding another blow to the German manufacturer's aspirations in the series. New team O'Connell Simsports also has withdrawn its #34 Cadillac V-Series.R GTP, that fans were hoping would make its series debut this weekend, however the organization will not compete at the Canadian track this weekend.

Another surprise for the paddock was the news, that Superstar Racing Team's #4 McLaren 720S GT3 EVO will be asent from this championship round. The team has attended all races so far this season, but has withdrawn the entry from Saturday's event.
