The Sports Car Challenge at Mid-Ohio will mark the first time ever a VSCA SportsCar Championship race will be broadcast live with commentary on a major tv network.
“We’re beyond excited that we’ve been able to secure Apex Racing TV as our broadcast partner for the upcoming three sprint races.”, VSCA founder and organizer Benjamin Fischer said.
“Everybody knows how awesome Apex Racing TV is and what a top notch product they’re putting out there. We feel like, as a league, for us this is a huge step in building our brand and hopefully getting noticed by a few more fellow sim racers and sim racing teams.”
In a very tight P2 class and GT3 championship battle and races with full course yellows, spectators and fans will be presented with an exciting series to watch.
“We’ve just seen a crazy wild race at Laguna Seca with a lot of wrecks and cautions. We hope that to put on enjoyable racing for the fans at Mid-Ohio on May 21st. Together with the teams and competitors, we’re working hard towards that goal.”, Fischer added.
The broadcast deal between VSCA and Apex Racing TV includes four hours of live coverage – including pre-race and post-race coverage – for the upcoming sprint races at Mid-Ohio, CTMP (Mosport) and Road America.
The live broadcasts will be simulcast on the Apex Racing TV YouTube channel and the VSCA YouTube channel, for everybody to watch live, completely free of charge.
