Element SimRacing celebrates a dominant win in a thriller of a race in Saturday's 6 Hours of the Glen, to earn their No. 7 Dallara's second season victory in the VSCA SportsCar Championship. The German team with drivers Nils Hundehege and Jan Vollmers inherited the lead when the No. 10 Dallara of Race4CAT Motorsport crashed on lap 152, and never looked back, storming to the top step of the podium.

Blackdove Racing and their No. 438 Dallara team finished second, earning their best-ever finish in the VSCA SportsCar Championship to date.

Torque Freak Racing's No. 6 Porsche earned its third consecutive victory in GT3 in Saturday's 6 Hours of the Glen (unofficial), beating for the third time the No. 67 Kinetic Racing Porsche for the top position as the GT3 championship seems to come down to a two-team battle going into the final three races of the season

Fischer Motorsport USA and the No. 14 Dallara rounded out the podium, likewise earning their best-ever result and first podium finish in the series. Even more impressive was Niclas Pedersen overcoming an acute case of the flue and massive loss of fluids, on the way to the team's season-best result together with team-mate Jason Birnie.

In GT3, a strange phenomenon continues, as for the third consecutive race the No. 6 Porsche of Torque Freak Racing beats the No. 67 Kinetic Racing Porsche, putting up a carbon-copy top-two result like at Laguna Seca in April and Mid-Ohio in May.

New faces joined the GT3 podium in third place, as Fischer Motorsport celebrates its first GT3 podium with the No. 84 Porsche 911 GT3 R and drivers Manuel Mayer and Jay Van Meppelen crossing the start/finish line in third place.

Long-time championship leaders Lone Wolf Motorsport had a late spin on the exit of the inner loop chicane and wound up sixth. If results will be official as they stand right now, this means the series will likely see its first championship lead change since the season-opener at Daytona in January.

Official results are expected to be announced in the coming days by VSCA. The series next visits Canadian Tire Motorsport Park at Mosport on July 9th.
