For VSCA, two days ago also marked the league's second birthday, as the website domain VSCAracing.com was registered on July 2nd, 2021.

"We want to thank all our loyal fans, competitors, drivers and teams, who have been part of this journey, past and present. It's been an incredible ride so far and today we're looking forward to what the future brings.", said VSCA President and founder Benjamin Fischer.

"We're truly excited about the future. And this season we've got going on right now is a perfect showcase of why we love the VSCA SportsCar Championship so much. Good, hard racing and great competition all around. Everything is not perfect, obviously, but we feel very optimistic on the state of the series and can't wait to see how the rest of the season plays out in all three championships and all three classes."

On the significance of independence day for VSCA, Fischer had this to say:

"While we welcome competitors and teams and fans from all over the world, our home is here in the United States. We'll always be rooted in the blue, red and white and without freedom that we all enjoy, none of this would be possible at all. It's an icnredible priviledge and something we, as a sanctioning body and association, take very seriously and put a lot of value in. At the same time, today is a reminder for us, that nothing that is worthwhile, comes without a price. And we're truly grateful, that we can enjoy this hobby of ours and do what we do, because of the sacrifices others, who may not even have imagined this hobby of ours, have made."

VSCAracing.com wishes everyone a safe holiday!
