Eight LMDh class cars will be featured in Saturday’s race, as the top class spearheads the grid. Led by championship leaders #7 BMW of Grizzly Motorsports, Petit Le Mans is one of the most prestigious events up for grabs this weekend, as the LMDh teams will battle for the overall win and the series championship in the top category.

In LMP2, 13 entries will be led by Indianapolis winners #14 Fischer Motorsport and freshly baked 2023 VSCA Sprint Cup champions #96 Albrecht Motorsports and of course six-time race winners #19 Trading Paints Racing.

The #17 Dallara of Agee Motorsports meanwhile is expected to make its return to the series after missing the last two races.

In GTD class competition, a grand total of 22 entries will battle for the win at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta, led by Indianapolis race winners #393 Mercedes of MAD Sim Racing.
