It all came down to the final lap - the last feet of the final lap really as series newcomers RPM Racing and their No. 911 Porsche 911 GT3 R (992) with Mark DeBoer and Robert Lancaster took the win in The Roar Before The 24.

The win earned the London, United Kingdom team pole position for next weekend’s season opening 24 Hours of Daytona.

Finishing second was the No. 22 AZR Motorsport Porsche, but the Portuguese team has since withdrawn its entries from the series.

Completing the first-ever GT PRO class podium in VSCA history, the No. 84 Porsche of Fischer Motorsport with drivers Manuel Mayer and Niklas Solle took third place.

Their team mates Stephen Nobes and Jay Van Meppelen in the No. 44 Porsche finished fourth.

Porsche swept the top-five positions as Kinetic Racing and Aedan Campbell and Vincent L’Herbier took fifth place. The defending 24 Hours of Daytona GT champions will look forward to start fifth from the grid in next weekend’s big race.

The No. 69 North Sim Racing Porsche with Italian drives duo Alessio Tranquilli and Thomas D’Ambrosio led three laps and finished sixth, one lap down.

The first Audi came home in seventh, in the form of the No. 55 car of RaceTech Competition with Simon Roer Husum and Steffen Jacobsen, however the Denmark team finished four laps down.

In eighth place followed DS Racing eSports Team and their No. 992 Porsche with Portuguese drivers Nelson Narciso and Bruno Cerreira, five laps down.

GSE Racing eSports, who have a GT entry in the series for the first time, joining their team-mates in the LMP2 category, took ninth place with Tom Wini and Kevin Mueller in the No. 21 Audi R8 LMS II Evo GT3.

With the grid now set based on the official results of The Roar Before The 24, the series now looks forward to the 24 Hours of Daytona next Saturday.

The biggest race of the year will also be broadcast live in full length for the first time, by GreenFlag TV. The green flag is scheduled for 15:00 GMT on Saturday.
